July 16, 2011 New York - The MP3 Experiment Eight flash mob at the Hudson. Thousands of people downloaded an hour-long mp3 track, synced their watches, brought lights to a meeting spot, and pressed play at the same time. The event was epic - as it turns out, half the attendants dressed in black with a different MP3 and meeting location, while the other half dressed in white. The two groups ultimately meet in a city park - exchanging greetings, dancing, jedi-flashlight battles, and finally glowstick-lit farewells in masquerade masks. Hosted by ImprovEverywhere.
